Terms of Service

1. Services

MooseBase provides web design, web development, SEO, AI chatbot development, custom software development, and website maintenance services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are agreed upon in a separate project proposal or contract before work begins.

2. Project Proposals & Agreements

All projects begin with a discovery call followed by a written proposal. By accepting a proposal (verbally or in writing), you agree to the scope, timeline, and payment terms outlined in that proposal. Any changes to scope after acceptance may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit is required before work begins, as specified in your project proposal.
  • Remaining payments are due according to the milestones outlined in your proposal.
  • Late payments may result in work being paused until the balance is settled.
  • All prices are quoted in the currency specified in your proposal (typically USD or CAD).

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own all custom design and code created specifically for your project. MooseBase retains the right to showcase the work in our portfolio and case studies unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licenses.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely project delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide all requested content, images, and feedback within agreed timelines
  • Designate a single point of contact for project communication
  • Review and approve deliverables within 5 business days
  • Ensure you have the rights to all content you provide to us

6. Revisions

The number of revision rounds included in your project is specified in your proposal. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be billed at our standard hourly rate. Revisions must be requested within 14 days of deliverable presentation.

7. Hosting & Maintenance

Website hosting and ongoing maintenance are separate services with their own terms and pricing. If you opt out of our maintenance services, we will provide all necessary files and access credentials for you to manage your site independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

MooseBase's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If you terminate a project, payment is due for all work completed up to the termination date. The deposit is non-refundable once work has begun. If MooseBase terminates the agreement, we will refund any payments for work not yet completed.

10. Website Use

By using moosebase.com, you agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated tools to scrape content. The free tools provided on our site are offered as-is without warranty.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
